Which Implant Treatment Is Right for You?
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, where it acts as a new tooth root. Once it has fused with the bone, a zirconia or porcelain crown, bridge or full arch of teeth is fixed on top. Unlike a bridge, neighbouring healthy teeth do not need to be filed down, and unlike dentures, implant teeth do not move when you eat or speak.
Our implant treatments:
- Single tooth implant – replaces one missing tooth without touching the teeth next to it.
- All-on-4 – a fixed full arch of teeth on just four implants per jaw; the back implants are angled, so bone grafting is often not needed even where bone has been lost.
- All-on-6 – six implants per jaw for extra support, often preferred in the upper jaw or for patients with a strong bite.
- Full mouth implants – fixed or implant-retained teeth for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth.
- Immediate (same-day) implants – where bone quality allows, temporary teeth are fitted on the day of surgery so you are never without teeth.
Who is suitable? Most healthy adults with missing or failing teeth. Uncontrolled diabetes, heavy smoking, active radiotherapy or untreated gum disease can slow healing; in these cases your dentist will prepare you first. Suitability is confirmed by the free 3D CT scan.
Implant brands: We mainly use German implant systems. If you have a preferred brand — such as Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Camlog, BEGO, Osstem or MegaGen — we can source it for you.
Guarantee: Our implant treatments are covered by the clinic’s guarantee. Your patient coordinator will explain what is covered before treatment begins.

Most implant treatments are completed in two visits: a first visit of a few days for the consultation and implant placement, and a second visit of around 7 days roughly 3 months later for your permanent teeth. If you need extensive bone grafting or a sinus lift, the healing period may be longer. Published studies report implant success rates of around 95–98%.
