What Determines the Cost of Dental Implants?
The first question most patients ask about dental implants is the cost. In practice, the price varies from patient to patient: it depends on how many implants you need, your bone structure, the implant brand and the type of tooth fitted on top. This page explains what makes up the cost, what to check when comparing quotes and how to get a personalised plan free of charge.
At DSA Dental Smile Art, the consultation, panoramic X-ray and 3D CT scan are free. The cost is confirmed after this assessment, together with a written treatment plan. For an overview of the treatment options, see our dental implants in Kuşadası page.

Why Is There No Single Price for Dental Implants?
When people talk about “the price of an implant”, they usually mean only the titanium post placed in the jawbone. A completed implant treatment, however, has three main parts:
- Implant (artificial root): the titanium post placed in the jawbone.
- Abutment (connector): the part that connects the implant to the tooth on top.
- Crown or prosthesis: the visible tooth – a single crown, a bridge or a full arch.
Depending on your situation, bone grafting, a sinus lift, extractions or temporary teeth may be added. A single figure quoted by phone or online can be misleading if it is not clear which of these items it covers. That is why an accurate cost can only be given once the treatment plan has been confirmed with an examination and a 3D CT scan.
Scope and Duration by Treatment Type
The table below gives a general comparison of the scope and duration of each type of implant treatment. Timings vary with bone structure and healing; your own plan is confirmed after the examination.

| Treatment | Number of implants | Restoration | Typical duration | Suitable for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single tooth implant | 1 | Single crown (zirconia or porcelain) | Usually 2–4 months | One missing tooth |
| Implant-supported bridge | 2 or more | Bridge | Usually 2–4 months | Several adjacent missing teeth |
| All-on-4 | 4 per jaw | Fixed full arch | Temporary teeth within a few days, final teeth usually after 3–6 months | All teeth missing in one jaw |
| All-on-6 | 6 per jaw | Fixed full arch | Final teeth usually after 3–6 months | All teeth missing, with suitable bone support |
| Same-day implants | Depends on the case | Temporary teeth on the same day, then final teeth | Final teeth usually after 3–6 months | Suitable cases with good bone quality |
If bone grafting or a sinus lift is needed, the total treatment time can extend to around 6–9 months.
7 Factors That Affect the Cost
- 1. Number of implants and type of treatment: a single tooth, a bridge or a full-arch plan is the biggest factor in the total cost.
- 2. Implant brand: we use Osstem, Hiossen and BEGO implant systems; other well-known brands can be sourced on request.
- 3. Bone condition: if there is not enough bone, a bone graft or – in the upper jaw – a sinus lift may be needed. Your dentist assesses whether bone grafting is needed using your clinical examination, medical history and appropriate imaging.
- 4. Restoration: the choice of zirconia or porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, a bridge or a full arch changes the cost.
- 5. Temporary teeth: whether temporary teeth are fitted for appearance during healing.
- 6. Additional treatment: any extractions, root canal treatment, fillings or gum treatment needed before the implants.
- 7. Follow-up: whether check-ups after treatment are included in the plan.
